Group visit
Museum Zaanse Tijd is located in a picturesque 17th century craftsman’s house on the Zaanse Schans. In the rustic atmosphere of the authentic typical Zaan interior, you can taste the time-honoured craft of the clockmaker, see the sturdy wheels turn and view timepieces up close. The clocks tell you the story of the world’s first industrial area. Here inventiveness, creativity and commercial spirit found each other. The result is the iconic Zaan Clocks.
Due to our building, the group size is limited to 15 people per group. If you are coming with a larger group, take a look at our packages that we offer together with our heritage partners and entrepreneurs at the Zaanse Schans and in Zaandijk.
