Parking

Parking is available at the Zaanse Schans car park, right next to the Zaan Museum.

Parking fee
Day ticket for passenger cars varies by season between €11 and €15.
Parking in combination with Zaanse Schans Card €9,-.

The parking lot is owned by the Zaanse Schans Foundation

Close to the entrance of Museum Zaanse Tijd, a few parking spaces are reserved for the disabled.

Public transport

Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans station is within walking distance (± 15 minutes). This station can be reached by local train from Amsterdam Central Station in 17 minutes.

The Rnet bus stop of line 391 from Amsterdam Central Station is located next to the Zaans Museum. This bus runs from Amsterdam Central Station every fifteen minutes to the Zaanse Schans stop. The journey takes forty minutes.

Accessibility

The permanent collection presentation on the ground floor of Museum Zaanse Tijd is easily accessible for the disabled via a mobile ramp.

Unfortunately, wheelchairs with a large or tilted seat do not always fit on or through the door. Admission is free for accompanying persons.
